OER Commons (Open Educational Resources) has a “Curated Collections” section where “digital librarians develop…curated collections to bring… the best of digital library offerings.”  They have resources on hot topics ranging from STEM/STEAM to Game-Based Learning.

This is, technically, more of a resource, but since OER is a new and coming idea, I felt it was a viable addition to this list (as I was reading about it already).  A search for “textbook” for “community college / lower division” level students returned 371 results including Human Anatomy, Politics, Macroeconomics, and General Chemistry – all of which are offered on my campus.  The library is actively searching for OER collections for textbook resources.  This is a resource I will recommend.
