Tenpas, Laura
Pack, T. (2013). Use Storify to Tell Any Tale. Information Today, 30(10), 38.

Summary:
This article introduces the Web 2.0 tool Storify. Intended as a content management system for curating social media content across users, but with a common theme. Founded in 2010, Storify had over 850,000 users at the time this article was written. At its core, Storify is about sharing collected information whether for marketing purposes or as academic research. Basic usage of the service is free, but there are also pay services available.

Evaluation:
During a recent workshop, Professor Loertscher was speaking about capturing online content as resources; he mentioned the issues surrounding the University of Missouri over the lack of response of the school president to racist happenings on campus and posed the question on how these historic events could be captured by the library there for collection development purposes. This reminded me of the online tool Storify.

Storify is based on the premise that "everyone is a reporter." With it, users can capture online content like photos, videos, and tweets; this content can be arranged with commentary added by the person aggregating the information as events unfold. Indeed, several people have been pulling together content on the University of Missouri topic: storify.com/search?q=university+of+missouri+racism
